The Artists

Liz Bishop: Liz is an accomplished art teacher who taught at the Spokane Art School for ten years and also managed their Ceramic Studio for four more. Liz has exhibited in New York City, the Art Ambassadors Program in Tunisia, and galleries throughout the U.S. More recently Liz has taught art in the Hutterite Community through the East Valley School District, at the Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture, and as a substitute art teacher in the Coeur d'Alene School District. She holds a B.A. in Fine Arts from Whitworth University.

On December 2, visit her studio at 11409 E. Alki Avenue, Spokane Valley, WA 99206.

Melissa Cole: Melissa was born in Oregon but was raised in London, Hong Kong, and India. She has always dabbled in art, but has spent the last several years fully devoted to it. She is strongly influenced by ethnic designs, which she sees in her many travels abroad. Inspired by native artists worldwide, who use bright colors and intricate patterns to bring life to their paintings and carvings, she strives to capture, in her own unique way, that same raw energy in her work. Besides her work as an artist, Melissa has spent time in the Peace Corps, and as both a dive and a naturalist guide. She has also written over 30 children's natural history books.

On December 2, visit her studio at 4917 N. Boeing Road, Spokane Valley, WA 99206.

Dean Davis: Dean was born in Germany to a military family and spent seven years in the Army, serving his last 4 years as a Dutch translator in Holland. As a longtime Spokane resident he was once part owner of Spokane's first microbrewery, The Fort Spokane Brewery. He also founded the Inland Empire Blues Society and spent 13-years as co-host of the KKZX's "Blues Show with Ted and Dean". In 1997 Dean started a commercial photography business, Dean Davis Photography. In 2009 he began Dean Davis Editions, a company specializing in fine art digital printmaking, also referred to as Giclée printing. In addition, he also produces his own fine art photography. His most recent show was a seven month exhibit at the Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture titled “The Artist’s Palette – Through the Lens of Dean Davis”.

On December 2, visit his studio at 216 W. Pacific Avenue, Spokane, WA  99201

Kay O’Rourke: Kay works in oil and mixed media large scale drawings. She also plays with found objects, creating artistic narratives. In 2015 she completed a commission of 30 paintings on the History of the Spokane River Gorge from the beginning of time up to Expo 74 for Jim Frank of Kendall Yards in Spokane, which hang permanently in The Spark Center there. These works represent her way of using “Magic Realism”. She believes that myth and folk tales give us a better sense of history beyond the facts. Kay is drawn to naturalism, lyricism and myth and needs them to be part of her work and her story. She has shown nationally and internationally and has pieces in museum collections.

On December 2, visit her studio at 11412 Anna Drive, Spokane, WA  99218

Darcy Lee Saxton: Darcy enjoys creating art as a meditative and spiritual process. Many of her paintings result from pouring paint and bringing forth any emerging imagery. However, recently she has been finding inspiration in the spontaneity and playful nature of her young children. This has, in turn, brought a new breath of child-like energy to her work. She has been collaborating with other artists to explore creating with kids in mind, and is calling this project "LeViv Creations", after her children, Levi and Vivian.

On December 2, visit her studio at 2709 W. Dell Drive, Spokane, WA  99208

Nicholas Sironka: Nicholas is a well-known published artist and educator. He was born in Narok in the Rift valley province of Kenya and is a member of the Maasai tribe. He has exhibited and sold his art to a wide spectrum of private firms and organizations in Kenya, South Africa, the United States, and Europe. Nicholas is also a skilled illustrator, designer, and mural artist. As an educator, he teaches the techniques and history of Batik art, along with an understanding of the Maasai culture. His philosophy is that art is society; and society is the raw material from which art is made. In 2000, he became a recipient of a Fulbright scholarship.

On December 2, visit his studio at Tsuga Northwest Arts, 1114 S. Perry Street, Spokane, WA  99202

History of the Lavin Hospitality Mansion
The historic residence where R.B. Patterson, founder of the Crescent Department Store, lived with his family was built in 1902 for $35,000. It was one of the most elaborate, expensive homes at that time with four stories, seven bedrooms, four fireplaces and nine bathrooms. It was constructed in the "basic box" style, but what makes it outstanding is the Mediterranean-influenced terra cotta decorative work around the windows. When Patterson died in 1924, the mansion was sold to Senator and Mrs. Dill in 1927. Senator Dill is best known for procuring funds and was instrumental in building the Grand Coulee Dam on the Columbia River. After World War II, 1947, the mansion was divided into 19 apartments for returning servicemen and their families. In 1976, Dr. Joseph Lavin bought it and began restoring the building, converting it into a professional office building. The original seven carriage houses were removed to make room for 42 parking spaces on the property. In 1986, Dr. Lavin's son, Stacey purchased the structure and continued to refurbish the mansion. Today the grounds of the 14,000 square foot mansion is adorned with 300 rose bushes, and its outer structure is comparable to its original state.

“Drawing inspiration from her natural environment, the songstress with a striking voice plays her Alaskan soul folk originals plus mean covers like "The House of the Rising Sun" and Black Sabbath's "Paranoid."”— Monterey County Weekly

Nate Botsford

Sunday September 24, 2017
1:00pm to 5:00pm

Maryhill Winery Terrace

Complimentary

Enjoy live music on our popular vine covered terrace every summer weekend, Memorial Day through September, from 1pm-5pm by some of the best performers in the Pacific Northwest.

Popular Portland-based artist Nate Botsford’s hybrid style is a lifetime in the making and the backbone of his latest release Hourglass. Nate began playing piano when he was only five, but the Taylor acoustic guitar given to him by his dad at age 14 became the instrument that has accompanied him everywhere and helped to lay the foundation for his musical career. That career has seen up to 300 shows a year for the last five years: from coffeehouses to mainstages, Nate has pleased audiences with his feel-good tunes and relatable lyrics.

Nate has shared the stage with the eclectic likes of Eric Hutchinson, Barenaked Ladies, James Bay, Ingrid Michaelson, and Lukas Graham, and calls upon his influences of Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, and his big-band pianist grandfather while crafting his music. His songs have received regular rotation radio play and won numerous awards, including 2015 Project Aloft national songwriting contest judged by industry professionals. A 25-city tour in 2016 took Nate and his music to new audiences, and it only gets bigger from there.

Nate’s dream is to share his music with a wider national audience and to leave with his listeners a lasting impression of singable melodies and lyrics that, as Nate says, “Can feel were written just for them to find a glimmer of hope.” Find Nate’s full-length release Hourglass including the single “This Is Your Moment,” co-written with acclaimed producer Billy Mann, on Itunes, Amazon and CD Baby.

Nelly’s Echo

Sunday August 6, 2017
1:00pm to 5:00pm

Maryhill Winery Terrace

Complimentary

Enjoy live music on our popular vine covered terrace every summer weekend, Memorial Day through September, from 1pm-5pm by some of the best performers in the Pacific Northwest.

Nelly’s Echo, formed by Nelson Emokpae (Lead singer) in early 2007, originates from the premise that music is a two way street. “Nelly” refers to the musician/music and “Echo” refers to the audience’s appreciation of the music.  Nelly’s Echo is neither a band or a solo musician, but a concept of the musical experience associated with it’s creator Nelson.  Nelly’s Echo has self-released three successful albums, performed as a member of team Christina on season 3 of NBC’s THE VOICE, performed at over 150 colleges in the past year, entertained the troops in Cuba, and is planning to release a series of singles in 2014.  With Nelly’s Echo, you can “make good music the soundtrack to [your] life.”

Nelly’s Echo is blessed with extremely talented musicians who realize they are much more than a couple of infectious songs. They understand that they can use the gifts they’ve been blessed with to bless someone else’s life or situation. They appreciate that they can be the voice for the soft spoken in a sometimes very noisy world. They recognize that they can be that medicine for the aching heart, and a trumpet for the joyous soul. Cognizant of the fact that good music is a road map in navigating the tricky journey of life, and that music inspires to do great things, it should come as no surprise that once you listen to Nelly’s Echo’s music, it will be an integral track to the soundtrack of your life!

Maryhill Winery Terrace

Complimentary

Enjoy live music on our popular vine covered terrace every summer weekend, Memorial Day through September, from 1pm-5pm by some of the best performers in the Pacific Northwest.

Even in the cluttered field of blues-inspired sirens, Haley Johnsen is not to be mistaken as just another one of the girls. A native Portlander and daughter of a drummer, Haley's sound draws out the emotions of each note with impressive range, while her songwriting provides a candid glimpse at the joys and pains of young life.

Shy and fearful about her ability to sing when a child, Johnsen kept her obsession with finding the perfect harmonies to herself until her early 20's. Like a whirlwind, she suddenly found herself cast into the national spotlight in 2012 when she captivated American Idol Season 11 viewers making it all the way through to the Top 24 semifinals before conceding. Haley has since been utilizing the steam from this experience and making waves throughout the Northwest as an independent singer-songwriter.

Her first EP, "Through the Blue," is a playfully mastered farewell to lost love and youthful trysts. Her most recent single release "Feel the Water" is a step in a new direction instrumentally, while still possessing an emotional yet empowering atmosphere. Her versatile rock ensemble is lead with ease through a mixture of anthemic and melancholic original works, with an alternative rock appeal. Haley's influences range from the eccentricities of bands like Radiohead and Pink Floyd; to classic, folk and indie-rock vocalists such as of Eva Cassidy, Nicole Atkins, Florence Welch and Brandi Carlile – all artists with a flair for the dramatic in their delivery.

Lisa has been awarded a 2015 Blues Music Award for her mighty skills on the bass guitar. This win falls hot on the heels of her win for Blues Blast’s Sean Costello Rising Star Award, as well as three Muddy Waters Awards from the Cascade Blues Association for Contemporary Blues Act of the Year, Bass Player of the Year, and NW Recording of the Year for her latest release, “Move On.” “Move On” was also honored by Blues411’s annual Jimi Awards for Best Rock/Blues Release, and has been featured on the Living Blues charts.

Originally from West Virginia, Mann’s vocals effortlessly straddle the line between the honey sweet warmth of the south, and the force-of-nature sound Mann has cultivated by mastering everything from hard rock to rhythm and blues. Her clever blues balladry is complimented by her considerable prowess on bass guitar. Her bass grooves touch on the hallowed soil of soul greats James Jamerson and Bob Babbitt.

Her influences run the gamut, from low down blues sisters Etta James and Koko Taylor, to singer-songwriters like Bonnie Raitt and R&B belters like Little Milton. She writes the majority of her recorded material, and her songs paint pictures of a gritty (and sometimes humorous) personal experience in life, love and the not-always-pretty music business.

Lisa has shared the stage with many Northwest greats, such as the late Paul Delay, Lloyd Jones, Kevin Selfe, Duffy Bishop, Karen Lovely, Ellen Whyte, the Insomniacs, and Sonny “Smokin’” Hess. She has often lent her bass grooves and musical direction to Sonny Hess’ NW Women’s Rhythm and Blues Revue, a very popular showcase at festivals such as the Waterfront Blues Fest, and at Musicians for the Cure’s annual cancer charity Christmas show.

"Skybound Blue's worldclass vocals and truly great hooks set them apart from being just another Americana band" Arial Publicity.

Fronted by married duo Matt and Jenny Behnke, Skybound Blue is harmony-driven Americana - the dig deep and tell the story in your bones kind. And what a story theirs is of risk, adventure and adversity. From selling everything and sailing the Caribbean, surviving cancer, to raising a family while staying true to the quiet knowing that writing and sharing their music is their path. They’re charming, funny, real and the chemistry onstage is synched in a way typically only seen in acts as polished as Milk Carton Kids or First Aid Kit. Whether playing an intimate theater or summer festival they own any stage with sincerity and love. Matt's guitar playing is becoming legendary and their beautiful harmonies and melodies somehow seem familiar as soon as you hear them. Skybound Blue’s music has been hand selected for Portland’s KINK Homegrown Music compilation and National ad campaigns with Woolrich. They’ve created a devoted following of fans who crave that rare and magical combination of authenticity, connection, inspiration….and exceptional music.

It's plain and simple, The Tablerockers play Chicago Blues. This is the real thing, post-war blues of the '40s through '60s. Harvey Brindell recently moved to Portland, Oregon from Lincoln, Nebraska where he had been putting together, booking, promoting, and playing in blues bands for twenty five years. It was his intention to put a band together after settling into the music scene in Portland. But along the way he heard about "The Dirty Lowdown" a rhythm section that included Sean Scheewe on drums. They started an on-line conversation before Harvey even arrived in Portland. After getting into town, Harvey hooked up with Sean and after recruiting harmonica wizard Marty Presler and bass player Walter Guy, they formed The Tablerockers, a blues outfit that fills a niche in Portland that has been largely untapped, straight Chicago Blues.

Portland, Oregon roots artist Lloyd Jones has recorded six critically acclaimed albums, toured internationally, and racked up dozens of major awards and accolades. He’s a relentless road dog, hitting festival stages and clubs all across the land to enthusiastic crowds who can’t get enough of his swampy blues, his backporch picking, his serious-as-anthrax funk, soul, roadhouse two-beats, and old-school rhythm and blues (back before the R&B tag was somehow appropriated for other musical purposes, apparently when we weren’t looking). Yet he may be the most invisible, best-kept roots/blues/Americana secret on the contemporary scene.

Robert Cray sings his praises the way Sister Rosetta Tharpe sang gospel. Delbert McClinton won’t cruise the high seas without him. Clarence “Gatemouth” Brown, Joe Louis Walker and Coco Montoya saw fit to record his songs (and some of those songs have turned up as soundbed music on national TV shows). He counts McClinton, Charlie Musselwhite, Marcia Ball, Bonnie Raitt, Tommy Castro, Jimmy Hall and other luminaries among his friends and musical cohorts, and can tell you stories that’ll curl your toes about touring with the likes of Earl King, Big Mama Thornton, Otis Clay, Etta James and scores of others.  He’s shared stages and spotlights with Albert Collins, Cray, Raitt, McClinton, Taj Mahal, B.B. King, Dr. John, John Hammond, Junior Wells and Buddy Guy, and a hundred more. And except for Albert and Junior, God rest their souls, all will pretty much still say nice things about him. For years he’s been living, learning and interpreting in his own way this music for which he has so much respect. He’s recorded award-winning albums for Blind Pig, AudioQuest, Burnside Records and Criminal Records that gained him international acclaim. He’s earned every fan he has the hard way — by laying it down stinkier than year-old cheese every night on every stage and in every recording session.

Ben Rice's music is deeply rooted in traditional blues, yet at the same time fiercely original. His guitar playing earns labels like "fearless," "inventive" and "powerful," and he routinly brings audiences to their feet with his stunning and emotionally honest vocal delivery. In any given setting, a striking performance can expected from singer-songwriter Jordan Harris who’s on his way to achieving a reputation as a first class musician. Showing strong self-motivation to effectively build his name, Harris breezed into Portland, OR as a breath of fresh air freed from his small town youth. His dedication to the Alternative/Soul/Rock sound began at age ten with the drums when the guitar and his voice soon followed and have continued to push him forward. Since first writing and recording his own songs in his late teens, he’s embarked on a journey that’s certain to present a wide range of opportunities. As a charismatic performer he’s gathered a noble following both on his own and as lead singer for The Gentleman’s Club, one of Portland’s premier cover bands. Harris has received nominations as “Best Male Artist” of the Portland Music Awards, “Best Emerging Artist” of Deli Music Magazine and was selected for televised performances on ABC’s “AM Northwest” and “America’s Got Talent” filmed before a sold-out Paramount Theater in Seattle. Currently writing and in production on his newest record.

It’s been quite an evolution for this native New Yorker. From singing gospel music in his father’s Baptist church, to recording contemporary R&B and house music for Epic/550 and A&M Records, valuable experience was gained. Redray then toured the country as front man of the soulful rock-band “Mosaic” on the H.O.R.D.E. music festival. Through opening for Lenny Kravitz and Blues Traveler, to name a few, Redray gained notoriety. Soon thereafter, he joined former front man of “The Talking Heads”, David Byrne’s in his touring band from 2008-2010.

While Redray uses all of his influences, his songwriting draws comparisons from Ben Harper, Maxwell to The Black Keys. However, his smooth and smoky vocal quality along with his gospel approach set him apart. “I’ve always listened to various styles of music, everything from Curtis Mayfield to The Alabama Shakes. It doesn’t matter to me, as long as the music has heart.”
Redray made the journey from New York City to Portland, Oregon late in 2002. Leaving family and band-mates behind, Redray knew he had an opportunity to create something new. Inspired by his change of scenery, he began strumming an acoustic guitar documenting his experiences and emotions. “I embrace playing solo because I hadn’t done it prior to moving to Portland, I consider it a challenge”. You can experience Redray’s rootsy blend of soul singing over sparse guitar strumming at various Portland venues. Whether it’s with a full band or solo, Redray has the innate ability to stir up deep emotion within his audience. You can’t help but nod your head and sway in your seat as you listen to Redray’s heartfelt lyrics and organic vibe.

Redray is currently performing in support of his solo debut cd release “Follow Me” while working on an album with staples in the Portland music scene (Ezra Holbrook, Matt Brown, Jeff Baxter, Tom Nunes, and DJ Radical Klavical) scheduled for a late summer 2015 release. Look out for Redray Frazier! You will be glad you did.

Matt Brown and JD Eicher connected musically as they are both signed artists to Rockridge Music Group.

Matt Brown is an old soul with a voice seasoned by influences such as Ray Charles and Bill Withers. His guitar style is steeped in the tradition of Eric Clapton and Stevie Ray Vaughan.   Evident in his opening for Chris Isaak and Huey Lewis, the music of Matt Brown is rooted in timeless soul. His songs are fresh but familiar and tend to move the heart as much the feet. There is an authenticity in the words and delivery that create Brown’s signature sound.

With his band “The Goodnights”, JD Eicher has shared the stage with the Dave Matthews Band, Coldplay, Train, Maroon 5, Hot Chelle Rae, Pete Yorn, Anberlin, Rod Stewart, Bryan Adams, Kelly Clarkson, Cartel, Sister Hazel, and Matt Nathanson, among many others. “The music that I’m writing and releasing is really mirroring who I am and where I am at that time in my life. I’m really glad my career has taken the longer, ‘scenic’ route, because the music I’m writing now has a certain truth to it that I’m not sure I would have found otherwise.”

SUMMER CONCERT

Steve Winwood

Saturday September 9, 2017

Maryhill Winery Amphitheater

$46 GA | $66-$86 Reserve

Update: 9/8/17: Steve Winwood has confirmed he will still be performing tomorrow's planned concert, and the show will proceed as scheduled. Last night, nature gave us some rain and a lot of wind which has offered some relief from the smoke and haze. Cooler temps will hopefully help our firefighters! Anyone at higher risk of serious health issues due to the smoke should monitor the air quality levels prior to making your decision to come to the concert. Interstate 84 remains closed from Troutdale to Hood River, SR-14 is open to passenger vehicles. Please allow extra time while traveling to the venue. A portion of the wine bottle sales during the concert will be donated to the Washington State Fire Fighters' Association and the Oregon Volunteer Firefighters Association (OVFA). Thank you!

Our thoughts are with our neighbors in the Columbia Gorge, Washington State and surrounding states with record fires. Thank you to all who are fighting. Due to the severity of the Eagle Creek fire, I-84 remains closed from Troutdale to Hood River due to rocks and rolling debris entering the roadway. Washington State Route 14 is open to passenger vehicle traffic, but closed to commercial vehicles. Commercial vehicles are being routed to Highway 26. Check www.tripcheck.com for road conditions in Oregon and www.wsdot.com/traffic/trafficalerts for road conditions in Washington.

Update 9/7/17: We are in communication with the artist and are waiting to hear from them on their decision to perform Saturday's show. At this time the show is still planned to take place. As the weekend approaches, some drivers are mapping detour routes. U.S. 26 is open over Mount Hood to OR 35 which connects with I-84 near Hood River. SR 14 through the Gorge remains open to passenger vehicle traffic, but closed to commercial trucks. Washington State Department of Transportation officials said passenger vehicles were generally not experiencing delays on SR 14 through the Gorge but we advise our patrons to allow for extra time while coming to the venue. The Eagle Creek fire reached 5% containment today and the wind is picking up here at the winery and clearing out some of the smoke. Thank you for your patience in this difficult situation.

Enjoy live music on our popular vine covered terrace every summer weekend, Memorial Day through September, from 1pm-5pm by some of the best performers in the Pacific Northwest.

Tom Grant and Shelly Rudolph have been delighting audiences in their native Pacific Northwest for nearly a decade with an infectious mix of jazz, soul and pop. They share an inescapable chemistry and charm that are obvious from the very first note. Their vocal duets are sexy and sweet and Shelly's sultry vocals are well supported by Tom's tasteful piano playing.

As a jazz pianist Tom has toured the world with giants such as Tony Williams, Joe Henderson and Charles Lloyd. While earning highest honors as a sideman, it was Tom's own chart topping albums of the 1980s and 90s that gave momentum to the movement later dubbed as smooth jazz. Following his 2009 release, Life is Good, Tom was heralded to be at the top of his game by Jazz Times magazine.

Shelly's singing voice has a honey sweet richness that she uses with incredible power and musical depth. The Oregonian has described her as the 'little singer with the big voice' and she is often likened to singers from Bonnie Raitt to Norah Jones. Shelly has performed and recorded with a wide range of successful talents such as Ken Stange (Joe Cocker), Dave Matthews (Etta James, Santana) & 2010 Grammy Award winner David Darling.

"Shelly Rudolph is a captivating and robust vocalist.... Tom Grant is "at the top of his game." -Jazz Times

“Soulful porch side rhythms” (Hood River News). “This music is a deep healing well” (Edge Magazine).  Bluesy acoustic slide guitar, mountain banjo, and “one in a million voice”  (Creative Loafing) engage audiences with songs that capture today’s times.

Richard Tillinghast began playing the guitar and writing songs at 13 in red dirt South Carolina.  He started traveling soon after, and from his first professional gig in London at the age of 19, he has brought his musicianship, humor and philosophy to audiences across the United States.  Since settling in Washington State her has performed throughout the Pacific Northwest and invited to festivals from Arkansas’ Ozark Folk to North Carolina’s Black Mountain to Colorado’s Telluride Mountain Film Fest.  Recordings include “Blue Tattoo” (1995), “Men and their Machines” (1996), “One Hum” (2005), and “Sweet By and By”, (2010).  Tillinghast began a musical partnership with cellist Tova Cochrane in 2005.  Tova is classically trained and has performed with the Walla Walla Symphony, Whitman College Symphony and the Columbia Gorge Sinfonietta.  Together they bring a stage show that is energetic, meaningful, fun and most of all, original.

Not to be defined by one style, Lorna B’s own personal art of music is a blend of smooth & standard Jazz, Soul, Pop arranged with a jazz flare and Blues. Lorna's training started early at age 3 under the guidance of her father, one of Portland, Oregon’s greatest jazz legends, composer & pianist Warren Bracken. Her father’s influence in Jazz, Bebop, and Blues as well as exposure to other jazz greats of the time, led her to follow in his footsteps.  After living and performing in Canada for 14 years, she has returned to her home state of Oregon where her music projects have been in working with a large band that plays Pop, Soul Funk & Blues and her Jazz Quartet, Quintet and Trio.

WINERY EVENT

Memorial Day Weekend Wine Sale & Anniversary

Complimentary

This Memorial Day Weekend, Maryhill Winery welcomes visitors to its tasting room in the Columbia River Gorge to celebrate its 16th anniversary with special releases, live music, seasonal food and its award-winning wine.

Enjoy wine tastings — including the exclusive Vineyard Series — special releases, a complimentary commemorative stemless glass and discounts on Maryhill’s entire portfolio. Guests will receive up to 35% off all wine purchases and up to 50% off Case Specials.

Experience all that Maryhill has to offer by listening to live music on the Tuscan-style terrace (1pm-5pm) featuring Matt Brown (Saturday), Signatures (Sunday) and The Tablerockers (Monday). Spend the afternoon playing bocce on one of four world-class courts, and delight your taste buds with food available for purchase from Lilo's BBQ every day during the event (12pm-5pm).

Matt Brown: Sat, May 27, 2017 1:00pm-5:00pm

Matt Brown is an old soul with a voice seasoned by influences such as Ray Charles and Bill Withers. His guitar style is steeped in the tradition of Eric Clapton and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Evident in his opening for Chris Isaak and Huey Lewis, the music of Matt Brown is rooted in timeless soul. His songs are fresh but familiar and tend to move the heart as much the feet. There is an authenticity in the words and delivery that create Brown’s signature sound.

www.mattbrownsongs.com

Signatures: Sun, May 28, 2017 1:00pm-5:00pm

Rarely does a vocal group have four gifted female soloists; each one is a headliner in her own right, with her own unique signature. Signatures combines the sounds of ‘40s style groups, pop, free jazz vocalizing and also draws from the touching harmonies of Simon and Garfunkel, the country rock sound of the Eagles, and the inventive, dynamic arrangements of Earth, Wine & Fire. Listening to Signatures is pure musical joy and their spontaneous humor delights audiences. Whether it’s a discussion of who gets to sing a song by which female singer in the ”Diva Request” portion of the show, or whose outfit could use a little fine-tuning, the fun abounds, with the ladies of Signatures bringing the audience along for the ride.

The Tablerockers: Mon, May 29, 2017 1:00pm-5:00pm

ALL DONE LIVE!!  You’ll think there are 5 musicians on stage.  Acoustic Rock, Loop, Americana and Modern Folk.

Karrie Pavish Anderson: Sun, October 15, 2017 1:00PM - 5:00PM

Karrie Pavish Anderson steeps her Alaskan soul songs in the challenges of living in a Hoth-like locale with no roads leading out, and no Starbucks within 300 air miles.

Galena, Alaska is an unlikely place for an award-winning artist with an active touring career, yet Karrie thrives in this Koyukon hamlet and spins its stories into performances at festivals, pubs, churches, parks, corporate parties, charity events and the living rooms of her fans around North America and Europe.

“Drawing inspiration from her natural environment, the songstress with a striking voice plays her Alaskan soul folk originals plus mean covers like "The House of the Rising Sun" and Black Sabbath's "Paranoid."”— Monterey County Weekly

Labor Day Weekend Celebration

Complimentary

This Labor Day Weekend, Maryhill Winery welcomes visitors to its tasting room in the Columbia River Gorge with special releases, live music, seasonal food and award-winning wine.

Experience all that Maryhill has to offer by listening to live music on the Tuscan-style terrace (1pm-5pm) featuring Ian James Band (Saturday), Signatures presents "The Divas" (Sunday) and Matt Brown & J.D. Eicher (Monday). Spend the afternoon playing bocce on one of four world-class courts, and delight your taste buds with food available for purchase from Pork, Wind & Fire every day during the event (12pm-5pm).

Ian James Band: Sat, September 02, 2017 1:00PM - 5:00PM

Described as the love child of Michael Jackson & James Taylor, IanJames is an artist that believes in allowing the song to be the center of attention, not himself. IJB (Ian James Band) has shared the stage with national acts, performed at radio events and more. They have a simple philosphy when it comes to performing both their original material & the covers they grew up with... Great Music + Great Energy = Great Time!

www.whoisianjames.com

Signatures presents "The Divas": Sun, September 03, 2017 1:00PM - 5:00PM

Matt Brown & J.D. Eicher: Mon, September 04, 2017 1:00PM - 5:00PM

There is an authenticity in the words and delivery that create Brown’s signature sound.

www.mattbrownsongs.com
