February Spokane First Friday Art & Live Music

Join us on the first Friday of every month for our Downtown Spokane First Friday reception from 5pm-8pm. Maryhill will be featuring different artists each month in our tasting room. Our February artist is an international sculptor, painter and designer, Katie Staib. Don't miss her beautiful Koi paintings on display! The very talented Daniel Hall will be performing live acoustic folk-rock music during the reception from 4:30PM-7:30PM.

Katie is the Resident Teaching Artist and Director of Education at the MAC, Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture, and former Spokane Art School instructor who spent 5 years living and working abroad. She was the Coordinator of International Art and English in Shishikui, Shikoku Japan. She taught art in California, Japan, Costa Rica, and Nicaragua. Her work has been exhibited in various countries and venues.

Daniel has always felt called to perform, whether as a creatively-active member of a band or as a sweet-yet-soulful singer-songwriter solo act. A graduate of highly-renowned Spokane Falls Audio Engineering Program, Daniel is well-versed in all phases of the professional music business, with strong practical knowledge in core disciplines such as music theory and jazz improvisation. A born-and-raised Spokane Washington native.
