​A four-piece dance band that does it all! Blues, rock, country, folk, funk, reggae and 3 part harmony. Willy & Nelson present music that they love. Their songbook is deep and they pull out tunes that fit the occasion. The band loves to play and that attitude is infectious. If you feel like singing along, they won't mind a bit! Bill (Willy) Nielsen on guitar and vocals, Lisa Marie Nelson vocals, Bassist Malcolm Brown and drummer Jose Maya, the heartbeat of the band complete the quartet.

Kit Garoutte & Moe Dixon: Sun, July 02, 2017 1:00PM - 5:00PM

Moe Dixon is a familiar name on the festival and concert club circuit. In performances across North America and Europe, Moe is best known for his ability to create an energy that brings people together through song. Thousands of listeners have become loyal fans. His magical performances are highlighted by masterful guitar playing and powerful vocals.

Moe’s poetic song-writing is filled with his optimistic vision of life. With a lifestyle of skiing, kayaking, windsurfing, golfing or mountain biking (profiled in Lance Secretan’s book !nspire! What Great Leaders Do, on page 91), his inspiration comes from his sense of adventure and his willingness to fully live his Destiny, Cause and Calling. Every audience absorbs and expands on Moe’s unique energy and each performance becomes a celebration.

One of the top solo and duo artists in the country, he specializes in finger-style and ragtime guitar. Standing room only shows demonstrate his ability to reach out to all ages. His connection to the audience is highlighted during his remarkable and energetic guitar solos.

Kit Garoutte is well-known through the Pacific Northwest as one of the most respected and  versatile guitarists around. Throughout his long career his engaging and entertaining shows performing as a solo artist, with his KG Band, with a plethora of great NW artists, and now with the great Moe Dixon, Kit is naturally driven to perfect his skills and bring out ever more of his infectious passion from the deepest places within his soul.

While Kit is a composer and singer/songwriter in his own right, the cherished role he embraces in this duo leans more to sprinkling expressive colors via inventive fingerstyle guitar orchestrations and vocal harmonies throughout the duo’s many original songs and arrangements of songs by a plethora of great songwriters.

The Colin Trio: Mon, July 03, 2017 1:00PM - 5:00PM

The Trio combines jazzy, country blues with Southern soul, led by Colin’s sultry vocals. They can also be found as the rhythm section for many other Portland bands. The Trio released Tightening the Wire in January 2016, the full-length followup to their Simple Sweet EP (2015). In 2014, AXS.com named The Colin Trio one of Portland’s Top 10 Bands of the Year. Colin’s personal highlight was singing a duet on stage with New Orleans legend Dr. John. All three are originally from the South, and they currently live in Portland, OR.
