Kevin Gardner and Scott Randall have been playing together for roughly 8 years or so. They are 2 of the original Spare Parts band. In 2016 they were part of the group that was nominated best cover band by the Inlander readers poll.
Kevin and Scott have been performing as a Duo together for over a year at a multitude of venues, and consider Arbor Crest Winery their home base, though they play at numerous other Wineries and venues. Kevin plays guitar and has a keen ear for harmony as a second tenor. One of Kevin's major influences for playing music is most definitely James Taylor. Kevin can play pretty much anything James Taylor composed. Another of Kevin's influences is certainly Simon and Garfunkel, as well as, The Beatles.
Scott credits his influences to The Beatles, The Doobie Brothers, Crosby Stills Nash & Young, and John Michael Talbot. Scott spent a number of years singing with the Spokane Symphony Chorale. Scott has even had time with David Crosby and John Michael Talbot personally.
Scott has published multiple recordings, song books, and Octavos.
Kevin and Scott play such a wide variety of music that it is impossible to say which specific genre they fall into, but rest assured that they play from James Taylor to Buble', Beatles to Carole King. Just about anything from the 60s and 70s is on there radar.
You may find Kevin and Scott playing with Maxie Ray Mills or Joel Johnston on any Given occasion.
