Marionberry fruit with molasses and caramel notes. Robust fruit tannins, some cherry, with a hint of leather and chocolate before a syrupy, black current finish. 

Aromas of plum, fig, black pepper, and tobacco continue on the palate and a powerful young tannin upfront that smooths as the wine opens.
